Data literacy is the ability to read, understand, analyze, write, communicate, and derive meaningful information from data. Arising from the increasing organizational maturity in data acquisition, creation, and management, data literacy is emerging as a desired skill set that is necessary for critical thinking, problem solving, and influencing profitable decisions.
This webinar examines how to motivate data literacy in the enterprise. We discuss how to socialize the value proposition of data literacy, and then we dig a little deeper into the sociotechnical framework supporting data literacy. We will use an example that demonstrates the approach to socialization and discuss the data governance implications.
